Lusk

Lusk is an interesting village in the parish and barony of the same name. It lies about sixteen miles north of Dublin, with a railway station on the Great Northern system. It has a post office and constabulary station. The old Abbey of Lusk is one of the oldest foundations in Ireland. A copmparatively new Protestant church has recently been built on the site. The Catholic Church is a capacious building. There are two National Schools. Area about 90 acres. Population about 150.
